ANGEL AND YOLANDA, “LOS ZHUNAULAS”, are artists that belong to the Saraguro Kichwa Town , from the county of Loja, to the south of Ecuador. They sang alone for a long time, and in an incredible way, sharing both their ancestral roots, however never they met each other but up to 1989, year in which cross looks for first time, they are attracted, they are liked, they fall in love... and three years later decide to get married. We could manifest without place to doubts that is the precise moment where it borns what years later the whole Ecuador would know as the First Mixed Duet, "Los Zhunaulas.”

Already united in marriage they began to be feed of their own last experiences as interpreters soloists, and convinced hundred percent that the Ecuadorian artist should be overcome every day and to each instant, both followed courses of vocal technique with professors of Music's National Conservatory; and all these united events cooperated so that Ángel and Yolanda, decide to not only unite in the love but also in their noble artistic profession and conform a duet, perhaps the only Mixed Duet of the Ecuador of the last times: "LOS ZHUNAULAS", derived nomination of "ZHUNAULA", origin Kichwa last name, of the Indigenous Community of the Saraguros and belonging to one of their members.

Ángel and Yolanda, "Los Zhunaulas", with pride they always wear their typical dress, of the Indigenous Saraguros, ethnic group which they belong and of the one they are, in the musical artistic field, their only representatives.

Their four Compact Disks (the quarter volume, at the moment in promotion) they have been constituted in true successes not only in the Ecuador but at international level, overalls in the United States of North America and Spain, countries untill where they have expanded their more and more growing and unstoppable popularity. The songs like: “Alitas Quebradas”, “Cansados Pies”, “El Gavilán”, “Corazón no Llores”, “Muriendo de Amor” (or “Corazón de Piedra”), “El Forasterito”, “El Resbalón”, “Runa Shunku”, “Amor Perdóname”, “Negrita Ingrata”, “Por qué Sufrir...” they are authentic and true musical jewels in the voices of this tuned musical and different duet.

At the moment in the United States of North America, the first DVD of "Los Zhunaulas" is distributed with the patronage of TV Activa Producciones, being a total success, great reason, for the next months it will already be filmed in the Ecuadorian landscapes and with the responsibility of the same House Producer, the second DVD with "Los Zhunaulas”, at the time that they get ready multiple international tours with these two great voices, pride of the Indian Town and of the whole Ecuador.
