Beginnings: 1981 up to 1983. I was Guitarist of Olmedo Torres, Miguelito Puga and Galo Pérez, then musical mark with Carlos “Chinito” Cando to several artists, among them: Mélida María Jaramillo, Pepe Jaramillo, Hnas. López Ron, Hnos. Miño Naranjo, among others. Later on I worked in the Lira Quiteña with Mrs. Lida Uquillas with the famous Guañita.

In 1983 I ended up being part of the “Mariachi Xolotlán” in the Complex the King like guitarist, all the musicians were foreign (Nicaraguans and Salvadorans) it was in that year that they baptized me as the First Ecuadorian Mariachi, godfather of Manolo of tde la Peña, Rafael Salazar and the exciting Cristóbal Guayta among others.

Later on we went to the hotel Airport, in which we were since little time the loud ones they were already returned to their countries. For him which the is born “Aztec International Group” of 4 musicians (Rafael Salazar, Manuel Monterrosa, Miguel Meléndez and Hugo Baquero (Director)). With passing of the time we made it the “Azteca Mariachi” with Ecuadorian musicians, it is necessary to highlight that the first trumpet that you beginning in my group and as Loud he calls himself Victor Soda. With this mariachi we begin to give that to say musically and we travel for Colombia and Peru.

In 1998 I traveled for Mexico and then to USA. I had the pleasure of working with the Mariachi “Gold of Mexico”, I was in several places until I returned to the Ecuador in the 2002.

Again I form the “Aztec Juvenile Mariachi”, now with the collaboration of me son Hugo Alberto like Vihuelista - Singer, and other young musicians, sincerely we are giving a lot that to speak.

At the moment story with musicians highly Ecuadorian Professionals and an abroad. It fits to delimit that I am being part of the famous group “The Ramary” in quality of Violinist.
