The Spanish in their epic conquering denominated our territory like THE CINNAMON COUNTRY, in function of that cinnamon perfuming tree and especially, to nominate to the exuberant amazon flora that makes proud to the Latins and Ecuadorian people who enjoy of the wonderful regions of the Ecuador.

Many have been the achievements, awards and nominations that TIERRA CANELA has reached in their six years of artistic life: GROUP REVELATION, BETTER CHOREOGRAPHY, GROUP MORE ATTENDANT, DISKS OF PLATINUM and a lot of more recognitions.

Six productions possess the grouping, three at national level and three at international level, due to the orders of international companies to record during their tours in outside.

Songs as: La Carta, Tu Recuerdo, Mi joven profesor, Diosas de cumbia, have been able to be positioned in the first preference positions. In the last edition they are included songs that express the national feeling: Ingratitud, Nada soy, Cariñito, are some of the good known ones.

For the back and the necessity of knowing the tecnocumbia TIERRA CANELA has been able to carry out three tours around USA and the same number around Europe. On December they will carry out their fourth tour around Europe and on October another tour around the United States.

The fourth production is already working in at national level, in which different rhythms will be included which are not only based on the tropical rhythm.

With all these antecedents the grouping consolidates like one of the pioneers and favorite of the tropical music.
